Entries sought for 11th Annual Yellowstone Fall Photo Festival

Amateur and professional photographers are invited to share some of their favorite images of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem as part of the 11th Annual Fall Photo Festival.

The contest is cosponsored by the National Park Service and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Mont.

The event will be held Tuesday evening, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center.

The festival is not a contest, and no prizes are awarded. Rather, it provides an opportunity for both amateur and professional photographers to gather together in person to and spend no more than 5 minutes narrating up to 25 of their favorite digital images with others who share their passion for photography.

Photographers are encouraged to share tips on their photo techniques.  Photos which originated within Yellowstone or Grand Teton national parks are eligible.
