Grand Teton bison sums up public reaction to shutdown

It’s not just World War II veterans and other disgruntled would-be national park visitors who are ignoring barricades meant to close public lands during the federal government shutdown.

Wild animals have never heeded administrative boundaries during normal times. This itchy bison looking to scratch his neck on a roadside barricade in Grand Teton National Park pretty much sums up much of the public reaction to park closures.
