Grand Teton head Scott to retire Nov. 8 after more than 9 years at park

From Staff Reports

Grand Teton National Park Superintendent Mary Gibson Scott will retire next month after more than nine years as the park’s chief administrator.

Scott is the third longest-serving superintendent in Grand Teton’s history, and the first female to fill the park’s top position, according to a statement released Friday by the park’s public affairs office.

Capping a 33-year career in public service, Scott’s last day as head of Grand Teton will be November 8. She became superintendent in May 2004.
