Firefighters battle two lightning-caused fires in Grand Teton area

Firefighters in Jackson Hole worked to contain two new fires sparked by lightning on Wednesday, with a helicopter expected to join the effort today, according to a statement released by the Grand Teton National Park public affairs office.

The Blacktail Fire in Yellowstone National Park covers about 15 acres and is burning near the Montana-Wyoming border between Mammoth Hot Springs and Tower Junction. (Inciweb photo - click to enlarge)
