UPDATE — 10:15 a.m. Wed., Aug. 21: The Grand Loop Road between Fishing Bridge and Canyon has be reopened after a brief closure due to the approaching Alum Fire. Park officials warn that the road will remain subject to closure on short notice if fire conditions change.
