JACKSON, WYO. \u2014 The last in a series of four short videos highlighting the natural wonders of Grand Teton National Park has been released, focusing on the life-giving waters of the park.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with Grand Teton Association, Grand Teton National Park Foundation has released \u201cGlacial Lakes in Grand Teton<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0aimed at raising awareness about the park using a contemporary and accessible medium that is available online to viewers around the world.<\/p>\n

“Glacial Lakes in Grand Teton” joins “Color Change in Grand Teton<\/a>,” \u201cDay and Night in Grand Teton<\/a>\u201d and \u201cWeather in Grand Teton<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0the first three films in the four-part series called \u201cFrom Valley to Peak.\u201d All four shorts include footage of natural phenomena in Grand Teton National Park.<\/p>\n

The films were recently completed by Jackson-based videographers Jesse Ryan and Ryan Christopher of New Thought Media.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur effort to connect people to the park and to educate them about this amazing resource remains one of the most important components of our mission at the foundation,\u201d said foundation president Leslie Mattson in a statement last month marking the release of the first film.\u00a0\u201dProjects like this are a great way to spread the wonders of Grand Teton to national park lovers far and wide.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four-minute videos showcase a selection of striking natural occurrences through artfully captured landscapes, time-lapse sequences and insightful narration.\u00a0The final remaining video in the series will be released next month.<\/p>\n

The video series is one of the most recent foundation-funded projects, and echoes the organization\u2019s mission to fund initiatives that go beyond what the National Park Service can accomplish on its own.\u00a0 Since 1997, the foundation has raised more than $20 million for education-based capital projects, work-and-learn programs that connect youth to nature and various wildlife research and protection projects.<\/p>\n
