The most popular beer from Wyoming's oldest brewery is getting a makeover. Actually, the beer itself will stay the same—it's the brand that's getting a refresh. And the change is likely to be a huge boost for one of the most popular destinations in Grand Teton National Park. Snake River Brewing produces both a Snake River Lager and a Snake River Ale. Park Service approves Grand Teton plan to overhaul Jenny Lake area

Grand Teton Park Foundation names new board members

Grand Teton National Park Foundation—a nonprofit group that raises money to help fund key areas of the park's operations, infrastructure and programs—has appointed new members to its board of directors and resource council. Max Chapman, Natalie Clark, and Jeff Hanson have joined the Foundation board; Debbie Barker, John Gerber, Sandy Hessler, Renny Jackson, and Glenn Ray are the newest members of the resource council, according to a statement released by the Foundation. Second annual Grand Teton National Park Film Festival focuses on wildlife, scenic places

Grand Teton National Park will host a special three-day film festival Sept. 13-15 featuring an eclectic collection of works highlighting wildlife, scenic places and the great outdoors. The second annual Grand Teton National Park Film Festival will be held at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose, Wyo., according to a statement released by the Grand Teton public affairs office. Modeled after similar events like the Telluride and Banff film festivals, the festival is made possible through funding by the Grand Teton National Park Foundation with the help of local corporate sponsors. Foundation funds mobile app, website for tech-savvy Grand Teton visitors

A new mobile app for smartphones and tablets allows Grand Teton National Park visitors to learn more about specific elements of the park as they travel along the Teton Park Road.

While some outdoors enthusiasts may plead with fellow travelers to leave the gadgets at home, smartphone and tablet users visiting Grand Teton National Park now have a couple of helpful and free new resources aimed at enriching their trip. The TravelStorysGPS mobile app and DiscoverGrandTeton.com website, both funded in part by the Grand Teton National Park Foundation, allow visitors to learn more about Grand Teton history, geology, plants, animals, people and more. Grand Teton video looks at changing colors in park’s seasons

In July, fine artists from across the Rocky Mountain region will gather in Grand Teton National Park to create plein air paintings that will benefit the park.
