Grand Teton road opens to bikes before summer auto season

Grand Teton National Park road crews cut through the snow cover on the Teton Park Road between the Taggart Lake parking area and Signal Mountain Lodge—a distance of 15 miles—and completed this portion of the annual spring plowing operations on Friday, March 27. The Teton Park Road has melted down to pavement in most places and is now open to non-motorized recreation such as walking, biking, and roller-blading.. Teton Park Road open for spring access as plow crews continue work

Crews are clearing snow from roads and highways in Grand Teton National Park.

Grand Teton National Park road crews cut through the deep snowpack on the Teton Park Road between the Taggart Lake parking area and Signal Mountain Lodge—a distance of 15 miles— and completed this portion of the annual spring plowing on Friday, April 4. Teton County to help groom Teton Park Road for skiers inside Grand Teton

In a new agreement finalized this week, Teton County work crews will work to groom snow for skiers along a section of Teton Park Road in Grand Teton National Park. A memorandum of understanding signed by Grand Teton National Park and Teton County allows the county to groom 15-miles of the snow-covered road between Taggart Lake trailhead and Signal Mountain Lodge.
